Daily Technical Analysis on EUR/USD




Yesterday's break below 1.2740 signals, that a top is in place at 1.2815 and the consolidation pattern above 1.2641 is already over. My outlook is negative, for a break through 1.2641, towards 1.2536, en route to 1.2412 main target. Initial intraday resistance is projected at 1.2740.

EUR/USD intraday: under pressure.

Pivot: 1.2735.

Our Preference: SHORT positions @ 1.2725 with targets @ 1.264 & 1.26.

Alternative scenario: The upside breakout of 1.2735 will open the way to 1.278 & 1.2815.

Comment: the pair remains on the downside and is challenging its previous low.

ale ten spodni target by celkem byl realny.

sli jete hloub, obcas je treba radikalni zmenit predpoved, kdyz predchozi ne uz akualni. zajimave.

EUR/USD intraday: rebound.
Pivot: 1.2545.
Our Preference: LONG positions above 1.2545 with 1.2645 & 1.2685 as next targets.
Alternative scenario: The downside penetration of 1.2545 will call for 1.2495 & 1.247.
Comment: the pair is breaking above its resistance.

Current rebound above 1.2498 should be considered corrective in nature and I expect 1.2625-40 resistance area to remain intact, providing a bearish pressure for the next slide towards 1.2330. Minor intraday support is projected at 1.2550.
